Your Telehealth Journey
Four Phases of Virtual Recovery
Phase One

Virtual Onboarding

Your telehealth journey begins with a virtual clinical assessment and a secure video meeting with our clinical team. Our tech support team helps you get set up on the platform, tests your connection, and walks you through everything you need to know. Together with your assigned therapist and case manager, you'll develop a personalized treatment plan that works within the virtual format — addressing both substance use and any co-occurring mental health conditions.

Phase Two

Active Treatment

With your treatment plan in place, you'll enter the core of virtual programming. Daily group sessions build your toolkit through CBT, DBT, and ACT — all conducted via secure video with the same clinical team that serves in-person clients. Weekly individual therapy goes deeper into your personal story. Between sessions, digital resources, worksheets, and psychoeducation materials are available through your secure client portal.

Virtual clinical consultations handle medication evaluation and management without requiring an office visit. Family members participate through virtual family therapy sessions and monthly Zoom support groups. The experience mirrors in-person care — with the added convenience of attending from wherever you are.

Phase Three

Integration & Hybrid

As your confidence grows, you may choose to integrate in-person elements into your treatment. The hybrid option lets you attend community activities, sober events, or individual sessions on site while continuing group therapy virtually. This phase is about applying recovery skills in real-world settings — whether that means managing stress at home, navigating relationships, or building healthy routines with the support of your virtual care team.

Phase Four

Transition & Continued Access

Before completing telehealth treatment, your care team coordinates your next steps. Whether you're stepping down from PHP to virtual IOP, transitioning to in-person care, or moving to outpatient maintenance, the plan is built around your progress and preferences. Alumni network access, ongoing virtual check-ins, and external referrals ensure you're never without support. Telehealth remains available as a continued access point even after your primary treatment ends.

Common Questions
Telehealth FAQs
You'll need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera and microphone, plus a stable internet connection. A private, quiet space is also required for confidentiality. Our tech support team will help you test your setup before your first session and troubleshoot any issues throughout treatment.
Research consistently shows that telehealth addiction treatment produces comparable outcomes to in-person care. Our telehealth clients receive the exact same clinical programming, the same licensed clinicians, and the same evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, ACT). Client satisfaction ratings for virtual sessions are on par with in-person — and engagement rates often exceed them because telehealth removes transportation and scheduling barriers.
Absolutely. Our hybrid model lets you mix virtual and in-person sessions at any time. You might attend group therapy virtually during the week and come in person for individual therapy or community activities. There's no commitment required — you can adjust your format session by session based on your needs and schedule.

We're in-network with [Insurance Provider — TBD], Point 32 (Harvard Pilgrim + Tufts), [Insurance Provider — TBD], [Insurance Provider — TBD], and Medicaid [verification pending] NH Medicaid. We verify your telehealth benefits before admission so there are no surprises. Call (857) 312-1697 to check your coverage.
Virtual group therapy runs on our secure video platform with small groups, just like in-person sessions. Each participant has their camera on in a private space. Clients consistently report that virtual groups feel just as connected and impactful as being in the same room.
Yes. Our clinical team conducts medication evaluations and ongoing management via secure video consultations. Prescriptions for medications like Vivitrol, Sublocade, and Brixadi (injectable only) can be managed virtually, with follow-up appointments scheduled as part of your telehealth treatment plan. In most cases, issues are resolved within minutes. If a session is disrupted, your clinician will reconnect with you or reschedule promptly so you don't miss treatment time.
You need to be located in New Hampshire during your telehealth sessions, as we're licensed in New Hampshire. You don't need to live near our Salem, NH facility — that's the beauty of telehealth. Clients from anywhere in NH can access our full programming virtually.
Our platform is fully HIPAA-compliant with end-to-end encryption for all video, audio, and data transmission. Sessions are not recorded unless explicitly authorized. What We Treat
Conditions Treated via Telehealth

Substance Use Disorders

Our telehealth program treats a full range of substance use disorders including alcohol, opioids, heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, benzodiazepines, marijuana, kratom, and prescription drug abuse. We also address less common dependencies including synthetic drugs, hallucinogens, inhalants, stimulants, barbiturates, and MDMA. The clinical framework is identical to in-person care — adapted for secure virtual delivery.

Co-Occurring Mental Health

Many telehealth clients come to us with more than just a substance use disorder. We treat co-occurring anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, panic disorders, trauma, and self-harm behaviors. Our dual-diagnosis approach ensures both conditions are addressed simultaneously through virtual individual therapy, group sessions, and NP-managed medication — because treating one without the other rarely leads to lasting recovery.
